valued customers.

Microwave Amps will continue to offer new innovative solutions for amplifiers in the frequency range 20MHz to 20GHz. Whether it is for a Pulsed, CW and Modulated carriers, up to power levels of 25kW, in AC powered Racks, or DC powered Modules, we have a solution for you.

Full in-house production

Design

Using the latest CAD programs and our extensive in house knowledge and product portfolio, we have an understanding of what is needed to take a paper design and turn this into a real world amplifier.

Circuit boards

We have full in-house manufacture of our circuit boards. This means we can very quickly create a prototype design, but also means we can closely control the quality of these boards. Grounding and heat transfer are critical elements to keeping transistors working optimally, and this is why we use thick copper or brass backed duroid for our RF circuits.

Metal work

Having the capability to make all our enclosures in house gives us great flexibility to develop amplifiers in very quick timescales. We also are able to support customers with obsolescence issues as size, weight and power alternatives can be produced, saving both costly re-designs and cutting down development cycles.

Assembly

Full assembly of our amplifiers is done on site. This means we can keep quality high, but still offer flexibility in design. Whether it is a one off, or much larger OEM volumes, our production can evolve to meet the need.

Test

Everyone of our products are fully tested on site before being sent out to the customer. This gives both us confidence in the quality of our products, but also it builds credibility with customers as they are confident the purchase they have made will perform as they expect.
